Chedet wrote about mozzarella cheese being produced in Langkawi. Waaah, this is truly marvellous. At least there exists a soul who could 'see' my vision. The small factory is owned by an Italian married to a Malaysian (can be M,C,I or others for that matter). Still never mind .. Hoping that OUR cheese is 200% halal.
I love cheese very much but I have stop buying them for quite sometime now, all because I am quite was-was of its halalness. Have seen on tv how the workers spread a generous amount of lard onto the blocks of cheese. I have a concern also about the substance they use to coagulate the milk (to become cheese). It's bugging me too.
That's the reason I stop baking lasagna and pizza. I also stop eating anything to do with cheese ... Hoping that I won't crave anything cheesy for as long as I have that was-was feeling, insyaallah. Jangan ngengada nak ngidam2 pulak.
