Nak rewind tape kejap 'kkkrrrrttttt krrrrrat'! Cik Lina ni kawan yang I rangkul <- haha, ganaz! - dari alam siber. 1st time jumpa kat 'pesta muda mudi' 3 tahun lepas (jaap, I nak senyom jap). OK sambong ...
I think kalau I tanya 1000 orang yang pernah lalui pengalaman yang sama, mesti 1001 jawab "macam dah kenal lama".
Awat dari 1000 boleh jadi 1001 Cik Som oiii? Janganlaa you.. mentang2lah I pernah kata I failed my maths miserably, jangan ragui I k? .. tapi cuba you all teliti betul2, pikir elok2 - it does make sense you know. Selamat mencuba!
Takleh citer banyak2, ditakuti dada laptop tak tertampong dengan rentetan 'majlis muda mudi' bila Cik Som mula membabble..
Oh ya Cik Lina, semalam you tanya apa bezanya cupcakes n muffins which Azieda dah tolong jawabkan. My pahaman macam nih .. cara buat cupcakes serupa buat kek biasa ie guna creaming method while muffins tak perlu cara tu. Texture cupcakes serupa kek = ringan tapi muffins quite dense.
Just for info .. I tampalkan faktanya untuk semua pembaca (juga untuk anak cucu cicit I)
There might be some technical differences that a cook could tell us about, but from the consumer's point of view, the difference seems to be that a cupcake really is like a miniature cake: light in weight, sweet, and often covered with icing and decorations. It tends to be not too tall because it's texture isn't strong enough to allow for a very tall structure. It's always made with white flour as far as I know.A muffin is significantly heavier in texture and also in weight; with its cohesiveness, it can contain fruit, nuts or chocolate chips, which are not common in cupcakes. It is never iced and need not be particularly sweet. It can be made with ingredients as heavy as bran, and can be rather tall and have a large overhanging rim that doesn't threaten to fall off. (The cupcake also has a rim, but it is rather delicate and not too large.)
If you threw a cupcake against the wall, you would hear something of a "poof!" If you threw a muffin, you would hear a "thud!"
A muffin goes with coffee, a cupcake with tea. (That's a rather controversial statement). Fast food joints deal in muffins, especially in North America, but I have never seen one that sold a cupcake.
Well... Mr North America, it's about time you sell CUPCAKES cos CikSom sukacupcakes.., ok?
